It can make for a bad deal when you can not see the pplan. Details are often left out that you need to know.
That is not a load I would have accepted, if I actually had the chance to review it and consider it properly. The time is just too tight, and too many things can go wrong.

I won't accept a plan if I think the hours are too tight because that is just asking for a service failure.
Running out of hours is not a valid reason for being late. They will kick it right back to you that you should have known before you ever accepted the load.

I will send a Mac 22 most likely tomorrow. Will pass 3 terminals. They can have someone repower it if they like.
They are having.me fill up here at 7am Paso terminal and then Phoenix terminal.
Think I am gonna bypass the Phoenix stop.
This is the reason I say to get rid of the 70 hr rule. Wouldn't had to worry about available hours. Start with with a 11/14 everyday

    Benson az at the loves.
Burned all my hours today. 289 miles.
Not sure how far from final from here is since it wants me to take the 8 west. Going that way is 1445 miles. Not sure if going straight thru on the 10 is shorter.
Once I left this morning thought I should of done a 34 reset. That way I have 33 he to drive. Dm wasnt so convinced lol. Was too late anyways since I was driving
Have 8 hrs tomorrow. Gonna wing it and just get as far as I can. Signal not great and nav isn't getting the reception.

Been running Costco dedicated out of Monrovia, MD while some stuff on my regular dedicated gets sorted out. Gotta say, this isn't for me. Driving around DC and Baltimore every day is way too stressful.

Swift is out of here sometime in August and Costco will then be handling their store deliveries themselves. Wonder where the incredible number of roll-door reefers and vans from this account will end up?

    Morris, IL at TA.
I had my home time load and was planning to go back a bit early to make more miles for the week when it was canceled. Instead of getting home a day early for my plans to go right, I will be getting there the next day. It is also a Costco load.
I guess I could still make a few more miles this week if I still cut my home time a day short.

With my original plan I would have grabbed a load to Salt Lake City that delivered in this pay period, so I could go through WY where I know I can buy my pipe tobacco. The timing was perfect, and there are always loads there. That won't work now, unless I take only 1 day of home time.

I got a call from a planner asking if I could re-power a refer load that delivers near home tomorrow morning.
She said she wasn't sure of my hours...? but I was. Maybe she thought if I started my clock at 0100 I might be able to do it, because I shut down at 1500. Nope. Not going to start at 0100, and I hate doing refer.

Thousand palms at the flying j.
Drove 417 miles today. Have a little over a hour left on 70. Winds were picking up too.
Might have been able to make o trails truckstops but did t want to chance it since I have to get by banning scales and traffic.
Knew I wasn't going to make the delivery on Saturday. Will ha e 11h45m tomorrow and 4h50m for Sat to go 1056 miles.
They are having me tcall it in lathrop terminal. So gonna get up and leave really early and try get it there before noon.
Hopefully the winds die down in the morning. Really blowing now. Only 10000 in the box

What does NOAA forecast for the morning winds?
If your truck is shaking when you get up, send a mac 22 and stay shut down.
With 10k you are a leaf on the wind... watch you soar.

    Stay safe.

    Lathrop terminal.
Woke up at 2 am thinking the wi d would have died down and would be as to get thru traffic better.
    Truck was still rock'n.
Got up and made coffee then ran into truckstops to use restroom.
Sat for 2 hrs. Wi d looked to have died down a bit. So started clock at 4 and made it 10 miles to the pilot. Winds were stl horrible. Could only go 45 mph.
Then took a nap. Sat for another 4 hrs.
Got going again and pulled over right where the windmiklls are. About 12 miles east of banning scales. .finally got thru it after going rhry scales.
Had stop j castaic to do a 30 minute break so I could get here. Had 15 minutes left on 14.
Hope not to go thru that again lol.
