Overnight Parking or Camping Not Permitted

And when you've "rested" there for 30 days? There needs to be a mechanism to keep rest areas from being homless shelters.

Most have those signs and never been bothered while sleeping.
Now, if they have one that has a time limit for parking, that might be a different story.
VA and MD used to enforce it's 2 hr limit. don't know if they still do.motocross25 Thanks this. -
I’ve noticed them too. I only obey them if there is a big ol’ sign saying specifically “No Overnight Parking.” Those rest areas are rare.motocross25 Thanks this.

There is a increase in towns and cities outlawing sleeping in vehicles recently, I think the US Economy has reached a point that sleeping in a car or whatever is the only path forward for some. And those numbers (Problems may be on the rise.)Slowmover1 and PE_T Thank this.

Those signs are just so if they need to remove those who are there too long they point at said signs and say youse gotsta git

We had one on 79 north between Waynesburg and Washington Pa where they found a guy handcuffed to a tree. This was many years ago. It supposedly a know hot spot for pickle activity.COBB2070 Thanks this.
