We have to write our load number on every single piece of paper in or trip envelope... One time I had been lazy and waited until my week long run was complete before doing my paper work. It was late and I just wanted to go home, one BOL was 35 pages long... So I just wrote it on the top sheet knowing id hear about it... I have get to live that down, the ladies in the office still remind me of that.InTooDeep, Lepton1, lovesthedrive and 1 other person Thank this. -
I had something similar. Was worried about making my appointment for reload yesterday.
Find out shipper is 24/7. Loaded, doors closed in 30 minutes.
Then I'm worried about the delivery. It's a drop and hook 24/7 facility.
So I guess I shall mosey on over to Oregon now, via the savage wilderness .dwells40, InTooDeep and lovesthedrive Thank this. -
Delivered 3 hours early here outside of Portland. Been sitting now for 2.5 hours waiting for the next load assignment.
No good deed goes unpunished. -

A update on the fuel tank.
A gas tank was found on the junkyard search. Greenpoint Auto will have a replacement tank for me to pick up on or around Monday. $115 for a used OEM part is alot better than a overpriced metal tank that will rot out in 8-10 years. Overpriced as what the garage will charge if they supply. $200 (metal) Dorman tank sells for $97 or OEM new at $1200 (plastic).
Now to juggle the finances to make it all work.Dave_in_AZ, tucker, tramm01 and 2 others Thank this. -
I shall now refer to @Opus as “Mr. Spock”.

*sigh*
I need my own OM to throw a beating...waiting for a load for 7 hours now.
Trainee student needs 7 hours to finish his sloppy haphazard training by me to ensure he’s well versed in doing 30’s at fuel islands, only following google maps, making sure he’s wearing PPE as in Phlip flops and Pee pant sweats/shorts equipment. I taught him to never have a CB, to always ask if they follicle test, most crucially believe that making less than $600 per week is great pay.
You’re welcome.austinmike, Accidental Trucker, Cattleman84 and 7 others Thank this. -
I would have been grateful if they could have figured out how to even get me paid enough to cover our bills at home. sighDave_in_AZ, tramm01 and otterinthewater Thank this.
