One of our customers is replacing a water main in a small town about two hours away. The main being replaced still has sections of pipe made out of redwood.

 

Wow that's pretty wild. How big in diameter is that wooden pipe?

 

Don't know the diameter on that section exactly, but judging from the pic I'd toss out a guess of six inches. Apparently it was a pretty common practice out here in times long since passed.

We're asking them to save a section of it for a display piece.

Ohhhhh yeah. It stayed exactly where it ####ing was. Made a nice table ornament by the time I was through.

 

I hear the NoDak oil fields are nice this time of year...

 

Yeah, that’s where I’m going after my bath. These ####in sand haulers have sho created a fuster cluck around here.
