Foodliner in Chatt,Tn ??

New job and a new place will probably take you a couple weeks or months to get in the rythym so don't get anxious right away...

number one thing for me was how long everything seemed to take when I first started... but I picked up speed as I went... learned the routes and the customers and how everybody liked which cheek kissed... lol

Its a good job... I don't think you'll have any regrets.

Positives: Easy work, local job, good equipment, 68mphNegatives: lots of paperwork and rules, e-logs(Just my opinion), smells at plants, pay should be higher for experience/fixed load pay on local runs/no drop pay, orientation lasts a week.

I am looking at foodliner..dayton,oh terminal..Does anyone know what they pull out of there..Is it liquid or dry bulk most of the time..What kind of hours should I expect and will I be home everyday..What kind of money are they making around dayton terminal..also anyone who works for food liner could you please tell me the pros and cons of company..If you left company why did you leave

 

The only thing I am finding where I work at is the loads only deliver on weekdays during business hours. This hampers your earning ability. Everything is slow right now. They didn't lie to me one bit though. Everything that I was told came true.

I would be interested to know if you are still there and how its working out. I talked to a few people in recruiting already, if I done anything with them it would have to be out of the Chatt. terminal since i am only 30 miles away. Any thoughts to share such as length of haul, equipment condition, average weekly pay, home time, or type of people you work with?
