Yeah the number they ask for after you give them your pickup number.

 

Trainer said it would happen and after finally 5 months it did. Coming down i65 this morning driving in the slow lane where you can normally find me. This car cuts me off hits brakes then takes exit. Who needs coffee when you can get that adrenaline rush for free. Took a couple hours to shake that one off.

 

But but you got all them brakes!

 

You know... I don't understand why everybody feels like these loads out of the Lexington warehouse are such gravy loads. Every other time I've been here there's been some sort of cluster####, not to mention how miserable that dock is.

Load info for this load had my appointment at 1600. I called and checked in at 1500. Would have been even earlier but nobody was answering the ####### phone. My phone call history shows my first call attempt at 1415.

I sit, and wait...and wait. 1900 comes, I call, they tell me there's 35 people in the queue and can't tell me what number I am. But I was late because they have my appt time at 1400, which is horse #### because my unload appointment over at C&M wasn't until 1400.

I'm seriously about ready to head to the Pembroke Flying J and tell these people to take a flying leap. What a ####ing waste of my time.

 

Maybe I'm forgetting hoe military time works. This still means 4:00 p.m., right?

 

I had a delivery earlier this week. Appt was 10 am which I busted my butt to get to because I had an earlier delivery at 730 am. Get there at 9:45 check in. The guy tells me I’m late because my appt was 9am. He was sort of a dick. Tells me they will try to get me in at the end of the day So I said ok, I got nothing but time. Went out to my truck made myself a sandwich, 30 minutes later some other guy comes running out and says that guy is a dick your appt is at 10 am just pull into the empty dock. Doesn’t relate to your issue but has made me chuckle occassionlly during the week.
