This makes me think of the time customer care had my delivery date one day earlier than it was supposed to be. Loaded in Delavan, WI. Parked at the Flying J in South Beloit. Got up super early and busted my ### getting to Columbus with the load before they stopped taking loads that day. I get there with maybe 30 minutes to spare. Receiving guy says "We weren't expecting this until tomorrow." They unloaded me, though, and dispatch had a reload already setup for me, so it wasn't in vain. Holy crap I thought I was going to either wreck my bladder or ruin my driver's seat that day, though.

 

No. West Rock off 103rd St,,,, up 94 almost into the city. It’s actually easy to get too and they have their #### together. I’ve never spent more than 45 mins there. 30 mins this morning.

 

Just hang it out the window man.

 

If you haven’t been to Trenton in awhile they are going to have the tracks closed from June 26th - July 5 th coming in the Augspurger/Jackson way.

Eff that place! At least picking up from there. Taking roll stock there isn't too bad. Picking up there sucks when they make you drop your empty on a door I think it's Building 8. It's a couple buildings down from where you deliver the roll stock. This is also the place where the directions to the one building say "GO REAL SLOW ON 95TH STREET OR YOUR TRAILER WILL BOUNCE UP AND HIT THE BRIDGE!" Gotta love directions like that. Also eff that door down at Coke in Cincinnati where we take that packaging.

Oh yes. I have a lot of feelings about that load...and they're all BAD! lololololol

 

Idk why there are directions that mention 95th street bridg . The way I go in which is exactly how directions say to, you are never on 95th st. Ive never had issues there. Get there, check in, go drop trailer and hook to your loaded. Pull back in front and check your seal and you are on your wa . For being Chicago idk if it gets any easier lol

 

It's been a long time since I've been there but backing into one of those docks was pretty nightmarish for me the last time I did it. But then again I'd only been solo for maybe 2 or 3 months.

Which way do you come in? Stoney Island Avenue Exit to 103rd Street? Bad thing about that way is if you mess up you find yourself looking at a 13'4" bridge if I'm not mistaken. I like taking the 111th Street exit and going down Doty until it turns into Woodlawn and going that way.

Oh and the first time I went there, the GPS took me out via 95th Street going toward Indiana. That was real fun. Doable, but very scary to my rookie ###.
