Think that massive quantities of Beer are in order after a fun day of working outside with my GF

 

Mine is just an old root cellar under the house with cinder block construction. Most of the concrete storm shelters around here are 2 piece units. They pour the bottom half, upside down, over a form and the top half right side up over another form. When the put them together, they put a really sticky, tarry gasket between the halves and bolt a small piece of flat iron vertically across the joint.

 

We have one right outside the kitchen at one of the fire stations, as in 15-20'. Ours are remotely activated every Monday at noon, and they don't always shut off like their supposed to.

At least your cutting something. Combine is ready, truck is ready, Chris is ready, wheat is not ready.

 

Our Barley has barely started to head out. I guess you guys are typically a bit ahead of us though. Heck, the Northern mid-west guys just got planted.

 

She helps with things other than cleanin the deck? lol

 

I looked at it Wednesday and in some parts, the heads were drooping and ready. 200 yards further down, they were straight up and still green as grass. I can't wait to see what new water holes await us.
