All of that in just one year...wow.
Seriously consider another career path. One that doesn't require you driving at all. And whatever new job you do get, take the bus to work.

If its a tight u-turn your tail-end could end up in the fast lane. What if you cant complete the U-turn? Then your tail-end will be in that fast lane for a while as you try backing up to get enough room to complete your turn. What about at night? Should you risk having your trailer sitting across 3 lanes of traffic?

Combine that with the fact that most U-turns are the result of a missed turn, companies dont want drivers trying to make up for a mistake by making a huger one. A no U-turn policy is a good policy.

Last thing you want is a rookie driver missing his turn then making a hasty U-turn. Im not going to judge a salty old road dog, but rookies should not be making U-turns.

The reason for not making U turns is you don't want a Prius looking at their phone impaling themselves on your landing gear. The point is to always avoid stupid. When stupid loses their head your at fault. Big companies have been through this countless times. There are times when a U turn is perfectly safe and acceptable. With the quality of drivers they hire I get why it's not.
