Where is everyone #5

Funny as Hell to see nowadays how big those things were.

 

Seems like we could get 5 channels on a clear day, but we lived fairly close to the big city (Fort Smith).

 

It sure is. Nowadays your phone can do a million times more stuff. Back then it just had a dial and a coiled cord and you couldn’t walk more than 6 feet with it.

Also couldn’t use it if the neighbor was hoggin up the party line.

 

Dang brother sorry to hear about your dog. We put one of ours down and made a shadow box for her.

Thats what I told him! Said we coulda saved him money by not buyin the bases!

 

We had 4-nbc 5-wttg 7-ABC 9-CBS and I can't remember what 20 was. The rest were snow! Lol. That was mid 70's though.

 

I think people of our general age (50 or so) all had that big ol monster in the living room.
