DH signed on with Decker in October and waited 2 weeks for his truck which he got mid-December. It sounds like he got in JUST in time. His trainer was AWESOME and they talk daily. He's been around for several years so it's great that he can help DH with where the best places are to stop etc. He also advised him to get his Hazmat ASAP so he finally got through the test and finger printing etc. and got the endorsement last weekend. Decker offered him a dedicated run within a few days. I think he just got it at the right time and we live in the right place but it's probably a good idea for any new Decker driver. They don't haul explosive stuff..he just needs the Hazmat for things like batteries etc. which is why it's not freaking me out. lol

I just got my truck from Decker. Things are slow but it's better than sitting at home waiting.

Wedgezilla..DH is "based" in Willard, OH with Decker and since you're in Indiana that may be closest. Not sure where they have other yards. He brings his truck home with him but does go to Willard maybe once a month (usually to pick up an empty) and has also taken his truck there for maintenance.

He did just get a dedicated run this past week so his route will change but as a "normal" driver before that his runs were pretty consistantly to the Carolinas, Georgia, Mississippi, Arkansas, Texas, Indiana, Illinois and New Jersey. (I've been keeping track LOL)
