Fired for U-turn

Tried but I couldn't find a rhyme with felonies DUI and reckless driving is cool..

 

You must be talking that small Pilot near the truck washout. You have to exit the Pilot and U-turn to get back on the interstate.

 

I'm happy I'll never go up north again with their 35 MPH interstate construction zone speed limits when all they have is an orange cone on the shoulder.

 

I honestly believe without the other incidents which was a jacknife and 3 more preventables and he wasn’t fired .If a jacknife and 3 preventables were ok how is a incident free u turn not ok?

 

my thinking is that it is a dangerous habit to get into or even do once.??

and that he has basically proven he is a danger.

i actually did not read how or why he jacknifed only that he did.

 

I did it once out of necessity. I’m guessing too much could go wrong so a preventative policy? Or better yet maybe 1 driver messed it up for everyone.

I have been to some places getting loaded and unloaded where I have had to do U-Turns, either that or do a blind side back. U-Turns don't have to be dangerous or reckless. I once delivered in Kansas City, Kansas to a heckhole I wish I never had been and am thankful I won't ever have to go back. The place did NOT have a dock and was using a forklift with chains to pull the pallets to the door. I was lied to when give directions and told wrong. The driveway going into the business was about a 1/4 long and at the end was a wide place and the main door going into the shop. There was NO WAY I was going to get that 53 footer turned around in that parking lot. I had only one option and that was to back out, get back on the bridge and back up. Once I got the truck situated I could back all the way back into the place. Tough backing. Lots of traffic conflicts too. I'm just glad I got through it.

 

we're not talking about those kind of u-turns..we're talking about like rolling up say in the middle of some small town you missed the turnoff to go to the Co op or Dollar General you get up in the middle of town and hook a great big uie by Town Hall. those kind of idiot u-turns when you can easily drive 5 minutes down the road and make a normal turn around and say a Big lots there's lots of examples can sight but I'm not going to but you get the idea....
