@Bear135they call it a sliding king pin instead if the fifth wheel sliding that circle under the car bumper pops up and you can slide the kingpin.

Shame I'm not going to the UP. I'm just unloading in Ann Arbor and hanging a left. But we're trying!!Westbound23, jamespmack, Feedman and 11 others Thank this.

How much can you slide it? Be pretty close to ####ing things up pretty quick I’d imagine?Westbound23, jamespmack, Feedman and 15 others Thank this. -
That's nice, what your family did for you and also nice what you did for Ruby. Don't know if you've ever seen the movie, "Where the Red Fern Grows" and I'm not suggesting you watch it just yet, but you ought to get some Red Ferns and plant em over her, kinda fits in it seems with how close you were with her.
Hang in there, hope it gets a little easier soon.Feedman, Westbound23, jamespmack and 17 others Thank this. -
Thanks for the pic. That's interesting. It looks like it would all scrape the road a lot or get high centered real easy and all those hydraulic lines and fittings could cause a headache i'm sure, especially in the winter. Is that stuff an issue?Feedman, Westbound23, jamespmack and 12 others Thank this.

Ann Arbor and points west. I wish I had a minute...or a paper log. One of these days I'll have to take a 34 out here and visit with ya and get some wings with JD. This running recap and dickin around with the factory is wearing me and my nanny plum out!!Feedman, Westbound23, jamespmack and 15 others Thank this.

Xl makes what they call the cheater. It’s a sliding king pin on an RGN trailer. They are slick, but a little heavy and bulky.Feedman, Westbound23, jamespmack and 12 others Thank this.

it's not "technically" a sliding king pin but that's what everyone calls it. The king pin is locked in the fifth wheel like normal and then the pin in the picture pops up and allows the trailer portion of the stinger to slide. It has 3 positions where you can lock it back in.
Feedman, Westbound23, jamespmack and 13 others Thank this. -
When do we get a burnout pic??Feedman, Westbound23, jamespmack and 11 others Thank this.
