You’re probably running 72 across but if you come up 78 to 23 across to 24 I know troopers used to sit in that stretch from Red Bay to Russellville in that construction. Seems they always had a big truck pulled over, it’s been a while since I went that way though.

No sir, no scales that way. The only time I’ve seen them with portables was east of Russellville about 10 miles. The construction might be done by now, they were 4 laning it for a while. If it’s still 55 mph I wouldn’t push it.
And a DOT usually sits to the right at the 78/23 exit down the hill from the stop sign, or directly under the 78 overpass as you turn left.1951 ford, cke, johndeere4020 and 14 others Thank this. -
I know they were hideously expensive when they came out but has anybody ever tried those Bose seats ? The ones with the hi tech noise cancelling system ? The ClearMotion Inc. company bought it a while ago. I know there's been a couple of threads about it but I would rather hear what this group has to say about it. Besides the cost, does it improve the quality of the ride ?1951 ford, cke, johndeere4020 and 13 others Thank this.
