Thanks CaptainCanuck and WahWah. My post was made almost 2 years ago and just as an fyi in that time I did obtain my Class A CDL here in Wisconsin (found a very affordable program at a community college, 10-weeks, full-time). I'm actually having some conversations recently with some of the oil/gas mining companies in Sask and Alberta that work what's called a 'flex' schedule where you work for 14 days straight and then have 7 days off. Mind you, for those 14 days you're putting in 16 hour days, but nevertheless it's an interesting option. I will keep the other/carrier options in mind as I move forward as well. Thanks again!
What about trips to Canada?
