The scoop on Dale"s or Apu Centers refurbished units

Bought an APU from APU center a little over 4 years ago good unit they could of done a little better job on the installation but all and all was real happy with it in the long run. I will tell you they want you to spend the night in Safford after the install to make sure everything works I did not have time and my bunk heater quit after a few hours but I called and they said they would fix it on my way back thru( and they did very quickly). Much cheaper than buying new I think the unit I purchased had a little under 5000 hrs. on it and I left it on the truck when I traded it in it was at almost 13,000 after a little over 4 yrs. No real problems had to have the system recharged twice and oil changes but nothing else will probably getting a unit from them shortly for the new truck after I recover from the sticker shock lol.

 

I personally prefer thermo king simpler design and if you do have to get it repaired you can pretty much throw a rock from anyplace in the country and hit a dealer
