My truck came with new Yoko's all the way around. Drives have been great. Steers I replaced at like 60K or so. Shook the fillings out of my teeth. Got Bridgestone's now, had them for 100K, they are awesome. Went through two Goodyear's too, they lasted about 60 or 70K one had a gash, one got deep puncture in it,but not all the way through, but they didn't ride all that great either. But the Yoko's were awful.

I've seriously thought more than once about a low profile creeper.
I don't know how old you are, but on Saturdays - during the Rocky and Bullwinkle Show - Tennessee Tuxedo and Chumley used to go see Professor Whoopee... he'd pull out the 3DBB. A creeper like that would be nice.

I prefer to keep a tire on a rim when I can as a spare. So if a steer were to blow out I jack it up and change it myself.
I try to keep a spare on a rim for this reason.

He just paid for two Michelin steers balanced and mounted for 1 tire.
No thanks and you got guys here like I’d rather pay 2k rather than sit on the shoulder.. in that case call me when you blow a steer. I’ll take care of the whole road side assistance for you then bill you lol.

    Lepton1 Thanks this.

Didnt say id pay 2k... Said i wouldn't do it for it. Big difference. Its just not worth it. No one moves over well not enuf do atleast mainly becaise 4 wheelers will purposely speed up to keep from having to slow down for 5 seconds... And i see way to many people on there phones day in day out. Wont catch me standing on side road while people are blowing past 1 foot away on there phone going 70.. 75.. 80 mph or more.

Its I10 east of Ontario CA. Most cars/trucks are not moving over. He should be here soon. It looks like there is more room just beyond the onramp. Probably we will move it up there for him because there isn't much shoulder room.

When the blow out happened I didnt have that in mind. Only thing I was think of was not causing an accident.

    Lepton1 Thanks this.
