Sorry, can't help. Considered the same thing, but heard a lot of negative feedback about them. Considering Swift, but still shopping around. Keep doing your research online.

NO! If you have read only a fraction of the horror stories on this and all other trucking sites and still want to believe their professional sales people{not truckers} then don't come back here in a few months bankrupt and expect any sympathy. Swift is not great, but they are not out and out crooks like CRE. If it sounds too good to be true- it is a big fat CRE lie.

This is a very bad time to take on a truck payment . The miles won't be there to support it .

I run for england dedicated and im leasing im doing ok. (well over $1300.00 per week, ever week)
But I have heard because alot of trucks are team now you could be sitting around more than usual as they have teams running solo freight.

At the moment with the way trucking industry is going I would not advise anyone to lease unless they know what to expect.
You can make money with CRE but there are alot of failures out there too.
Personally I would go company then if that worked look at leasing from there. then at least you know what to expect.
Remember thought at the moment all new company hires are being forced to run team untill new trucks arrive in June. (so the rumor has it trucks were ordered but not ready yet)

    Hope this helps.

I applied to CRE last month. I really didn't plan on signing on, but I was applying with everyone to see what they had to offer. I have 12 years driving so I'm nowhere near being a newbie. Three weeks after I applied I got an email saying they got my app. That seemed a little long since everyone else got back to me within a day or two. Anyhow, the email had a recruiters name on it so I called her. She was pushing the lease program from the start. I told her I was not going to do a lease and she said that I could go just company solo, but I would only start at .30 cpm I think? I remember it was rediculously low for my experience. I told her that and she said that I would need to team with someone, especially I wanted to get more miles. Then she went back to pressing on the lease program. I told her thanks, but no thanks and hung up.
Reading all the posts about CRE I was skeptical anyway. But talking to the recruiter confirmed what I was feeling about them.

I run a 2009 Cascadia with a DD15 and always haul close to 80,000 lbs.
Normal fuel mileage is about 6.8 to 7.0 mpg.
Did get 7.9 2 weeks ago with a tail wind but dont loose as much fuel mileage as i expected when going into a headwind.
    Normally run about 65mph.
