Any chance there was a May and a Prime drag racing in the first 2 lanes? Or grandma going 50 in a 70?

I was just noticing that tonight and thought about mentioning it. There's a lot of this in the South. Construction zones with 'Truckers use left lane signs'. The confusion it creates far outweighs any safety reasoning they put the signs up for. Also, it shows you how many drivers just blatantly disregard road signs.

For me, if the signs say truckers on the left, I do it until I need to pass, and then I pass on the right, because it's the reverse of normal and all I CAN do.

Isn't the reason for trucks staying left is to avoid causing road damage to the "shoulder" of that right lane? Usually, those right lanes are new, temporary road. I suspect they're not built for the abuse of constant 18 wheeler traffic

I could see the logic in that if they weren't left unfinished for years on end and also if it were taken seriously or enforced at all, but it isn't. Take a run down 95 from NC to ATL and see what I mean. It's a real treat.

99 North of the I5 split, trucks run the left lane a lot almost to Bakersfield. Right lane just sucks.

I've been perfecting the art of straddling the fog line whenever I am approaching the craters that form in the passenger side of the lane. It's also a good idea to leave plenty of room in front to have time to see the hazard and take evasive action. I really don't understand the logic of tailgating another truck on roads like that.

Lest not forget NY 4 wheelers that ride the left lane all the way, hell they merge slow then move slow right to the left lane. Of course if it is sprinkling they slow down 20 miles and hr and put their 4 ways on in the left lane. I want to get a hold of a NY state drivers manual and see where that is written>

Seems the state would put all of those illegals to work fixing the roads??
