Where is everyone #5

Sure looks hot. Did y’all get any rain last night? Seems like there was something on radar around Lubbock when I went to bed about 5 this morning.

 

How much does opening the hood help? I mean I assume it's for the heat. I was always told it hurts more than helps because it doesn't let the air go where the engineers designed it to go.

 

It's been pretty dry here. I got here on the 12th and it hasn't rained a drop since I've been here.

 

We just got chrome exhaust clamps n mounts from there an they rustin already...

 

I thought the same thing. I don't know if it really helps or if it was just that one guy did it and the rest were "monkey see, monkey do".

@ShooterK2 where do you stand on hood opening while unloading?

 

Ugh.. been there, done that n still frazzled over it! I feel for ya, truly I do!

We gettin stainless wraps made up now for the blue Petercar we been doin up.

 

Must be a Floridian. Starts putting layers on at 70 degrees.

Ya would think if airs goin thru the radiator its doin its job but mebbe it lets the air get out faster.

 

Well I’ve never had to resort to tryin stuff like that, so I don’t really know. We don’t really have that many days over 100 here like y’all do.

Been a couple times I was facing away from the wind on a hot day and had her get up around 200 while unloading with the fan on. Next time I get in one of them situations I may just give it a try but I really don’t see it helping.
