Gentlemen, what would it cost to have an onguard system with collision avoidance, roll stability and lane departure warning installed. I want the all in price for the system itself with installation. I'd really like to hear from the guys who already had it done themselves for accuracy. Thank you...

Ok I stopped laughing now, I think the only thing your going to find from most of us on here is how fast we dismantled them if we happened to get a truck with any of that crap on it.

All I know is I saved a boatload of money not spec’ing my last truck with all of that crap. Is signing into Prime worth it or is that what your trying to figure out? I’d guess upwards of 8 to $10,000.

That's pretty expensive. That's a down payment on another truck!!!

There was a thred on here , they installed just collision system and it was around 3 grand but they installed themselves. Yeah probably 5-10 grand i would imagine... Once u get it , just be prepared to be slammed into the seatbelt when going under bridges. I had a load shift on me in my old truck t680 kenworth, because i went under a bridge with a load of steel tubing and it picked up the bridge and it braked so hard it wouldve been like pulling out the red and yellow knobs at full speed. I sure was glad i threw cross chains on my #### or that wouldve been a very bad day. Even then it still shifted forward about a foot, idont want to know what would happen without cross chains

I'm driving a 2020 Freightliner with adaptive cruise control and that emergency braking. I only had 2 weeks so far and it pretty nice. I did get fake collision warning on the dash 1 time. The adaptive cruise control is interesting. It will see traffic in front going slower and slow my truck.

I had people pull in front of me only 29 feet going down the road. I know this because it show on the dash how close someone is and how fast they are going. If they are going faster them me the system does nothing. If they are going slower it will slow my truck down.

I don't know if the older system have the info in dash but you can see what the computers are seeing. It displays car or truck in front of me. And it show their speed. How many seconds away they are. Plus how many feet in front they are.
