2006 Century low coolant light

    I have an 06 Century with a 14L Detroit. Check engine light both yellow and red comes on at times. (Low coolant). Changed sensor in tank and it seems to go out for a while. Doesn’t shut down engine. Any particular placed to check for a rubbed wire?

    on that engine you need to keep it about 2 inches above full line. its got that heavy duty water pump. it will suck the coolant below the sensor.
