I have to disagree on that, schools do not have to do anything but get you to sign the bottom line.
As for the ticket,it should drop off the radar after 3 years
but it will remain on his lifetime record.
I'm pretty sure all States follow this record keeping protocol on CDL's.

Yeah we all had those days
Had my 67 chevelle over a buck and a quarter more than once
Smooth ride for sure -
nahh chip, they didn't drop the ball. they pulled the old "fumble-rooski" on him

Seen the other side of 150mph several times in my old(2001 SS)Ran many trucks over the years that saw the other side of 110mph # 80K GVW.
Times were different back then so doing the "Cow-Truck 2-Step" now isnt real smart .(not that it was back then)
Good Times . . . . . .
droy Thanks this. -
Exactly. Some of these schools are just like recruiters. They will tell a person whatever they need to in order to fill a seat. I personally have been a victim of a recruiter signing me up for a specific run in a trucking company, finishing orientation, and discovering the run did not have an opening. I played their game a few weeks than left for other pastures. But for sure that recruiter made her bonus for getting me there. Same with these schools. They are absolutely shameless in these days when people are desperate for a job.

That was my point. They should of never promised him something they could not fullfill.
Regardless it is what it is. He will have to wait it out I am sure.
It is sad that this would happen people could care less about you all they care about is the dollar.
I say this like it is my first realization.... LOL

I would say that is probable cause for a lawsuit A promise made is a debt unpaid.

Those were some of the best days of my life. When the cops chased you, not for a ticket but wanted to see what was under the hood.Wiseguywireless Thanks this.

LOL! Mine was a '70 Nova with a 250 in-line 6 & 2 speed slush box.
I was clocked at "01.9". I told the trooper that I had no idea what it meant & he told me that there should be a 1 in front of that but his radar unit didn't show but 3 digits. Back then we had to go before a Justice Of The Peace. With a call from a good friend who knew the JP, I was on my way after paying a whooping $25.00 fine.
Later I did own a '71 442 rag-top but by then we were going through the '73-'74 oil embargo & gas was like gold so I was a wee bit more fuel conscientious. -
Hey now how do u expect these schools to keep goin if u expect them to actually do something smart!
