you'll get used to the logs at school. The school I went to had us fill one out every day as if we were at work.

 

Just a suggestion, leave the laptop at home during training. I know many will disagree with me, but I no longer allow students to have laptops while training. Your entire focus should be on getting your career off to a good start. Part of that is your attitude towards your training. Your 10 hour break is better used resting, reviewing, and asking questions. When I did allow laptops students spent too much of their 10 hour break on the net instead of resting. One student had his stolen at a company terminal!
Once you have your own truck, I encourage it, but your training time is short and intense.
