Weird job offer

Trying now. Lack of CMV driving is the problem. If I can't get my college funding switched to a driving school, I'll either go to a mega or go back to college for another semester. I do construction now.

 

That's the kind of clarification I'm looking for. Guess It's going to be a pass then.

 

When I do side jobs in construction, I do okay. But not enough side jobs to make a living. And when I apply for jobs with construction companies and they see I've gone/am going to school for construction, they expect a 20 something that will be around for 30 years. I get paid more as skilled labor through a local temp service than I've been offered by some companies.

 

Still working on the CDL without having to go to a mega....

 

I got state and federal job retraining funds to go to college for construction.I still have money/semesters available to me. And while there's some money in construction, it's not here in CA and I can't afford to move right now. The people jobs who are providing the fund have a contract with a trucking school in Fontana, CA . The last college in the area that offered CDL training was Long Beach Community College and they haven't offered it in a few years.

 

And I called the lady in Ohio and told her, thanks, but no thanks......
