I would put the fittings on and have some hoses made with JIC fittings once you decide where to mount it. If you use 100R1 hose (single braided wire) instead of 100R2 it's more flexible. And cheaper.
Mine is mounted on the backside of the passenger side step storage box. Usually runs at about 200 or a little more when it's really hot outside.
