    Are you talking about a concrete mixing truck? Those are Class B.

    I did it for a few months before going regional . There’s a ton of money in ready mix and just gonna get more lucrative with everything gonna to slab foundations.

    Concrete sets up fast, you'd probably never make it into a second state to need an A. Aswell you can drive anything with a class B with a gross weight over 26,000 pounds, You just can't haul a trailer over 10,000 pounds or travel through multiple states.
    The minimum requirement to operate a concrete mixer is a Class B, You can drive anything with a Class A and through all states don't get me wrong. I'm just saying all you need is a class B. I honestly don't care though, I don't wanna drive a mixer. Lol.

    I did the new dam in town, lots of the new power line foundations out of the nuke plant, and stuff at the nuke plant, Bridge beams at the place that makes them. All kinds of skyscrapers.

    We were teamsters.

    Funny thing was it all paid the same. I used to tell the plant manager I'd take Pedro doing the driveway over any of that other stuff any day lol.

    Just an FYI. State boundaries don't matter in looking at Class A and B differences. All that matters is the trailer rating of more than 10k lbs for the trailer.

    I'd put Magnum Ltd. at the top of the list.

    I've hauled dry bulk cement and flyash and one of the customers is in Smyrna.
    Truthfully, I hated local work. Only reason I did the dry bulk cement was the dispatcher and terminal manager said, "How about helping us out with a few local runs before going back on the road."

    @AlvinG

    Arguing with @Dave_in_AZ isn’t probably the best way to introduce oneself here.

    He’s a known quantity, and although I am unfamiliar with class a redi-mix rigs, he’s also not yanking your chain, so they exist...

    rabbiporkchop and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.

    I mean if you think you can put class A experience from driving a concrete mixer, Go ahead. I'm not arguing.
    If he's talking about a boom pump truck, that's different.
