Why dont you go ahead and enlighten me.. Cuzz i do not have the ability to read minds.... LOL
Some people dont have cell phones, so they have to get a hold of them thru the hotel room phone.
Atleast we get a hotel room with breakfast, Others dont do that....
So we aint complaining.... LOL

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

well, you can think about that all you want... but i am almost sure that the hotel accomodations are being added to the training finance bill. at least you get to enjoy some quality breakfasts huh... didnt you have to put a phone number down when filling out your application ??? -
I go to Canada often and see plenty of long nose trucks up there . Only Ontario and Quebec require speed limiters . A speed limiter isn't something you add to a truck . It's just a setting made on the ECM all electronic trucks have .

U r assuming,..... u know what they say about people that assume... LOL
I have no contract, I have my class A... I am not paying for the hotel, I can up and leave right now and I wouldnt owe a single Penny.... My schooling was free so they dont even have that on me....
Yes they have my Phone number, There is about 10 of us waiting for a truck/trainer.... -
Calitrucking,
Where are you waiting for trainer/truck? I'm scheduled to goto Werner's orientation on May 11th in Dallas, TX. -
In fontana,ca.... thats where I went to orientation. -
I was set to go for orientation on 03/02/09
I was set to go for orientation for Werner on 03/02/09 then they called me and said I was being put on a wait list ,I'm still waiting!! I have applied to hundreds of companies but I keep getting the response that they are not hiring out of Michigan, or that I live too far north of Detroit or don't have enough experience. I would appreciate any help and/or info for a company I may not have heard of yet. Or any info of who not to go to work for.

And will going to wait a long time.Anyway, you can do better than werner, keep looking something sould come up.Good luck.
-
Keep looking for another company. After my "voluntary quit" from werner, I found a local company that runs mainly east coast. Better pay and they want you to run a minimum of 2500 miles a week. If you don't run that much, they'll get on you about it.
-
Congrats on that local job. So how long were you at Werner? It seems like newbies have to suck it up and get they're start somewhere, but this forum is making me lean away from Werner completely.
