It’s not the high/ low switches under the hood.
It is a sensor that goes in the air box under the dash where the evaporator is.
What is the make and model of your truck?

I don’t know. I wasn’t there when I had the expansion valve and accumulator replaced, but will find out.

    Found this on the internet.
Should be accurate for your truck.
There is one temperature sensor for the main cab and one for the bunk.

Usually when you open the system up, the expansion valve and dryer is supposed to be replaced. Then vacuum the system, check for leaks and charge.

key word is Usually. people always want to cut corners. the very first thing anyone should do is put them gauges on it. house, car, or truck. gauge it then go from there.
