After 5.5 days at the house it’s back to the grind. Picking up a load near Spartanburg going to Iowa for Wednesday. After I get loaded I’m going to see if I can deliver Tuesday, never hurts to ask.

Very good. They gave you two days to deliver a load approximately 1000 miles. I'm impressed that you are shooting for next day delivery. I now have a better understanding of how you consistently achieve over 3000 miles a week.

Well unfortunately it didn’t work out as I had hoped. They took three hours to get me loaded, and I sat in three backups due to construction and wrecks. The customer only receives from 0800-1200, I would have gotten there about 1500 today. I will deliver in the morning, deadhead up to Eau Claire, Wisconsin pick up a preloaded trailer and drop it in Valley, Nebraska, and then put my truck in for a service and a laundry list of things that need fixed on the truck.

Ok so dropped in Ocala, picked up load of plastic flower pots in Apopka FL headed to Menards DC in Plano IL, and then Shelby IA. But first, a 34 in Jackson GA. Somehow, I must have hit something against my def tank because my filler cap is way off centered with the hole in the body of the truck. Having the TA in Jackson check it out. What the heck could I have hit or maybe a strap broke or came loose. After this trip, headed to Fremont for past due routine maintenance.

    Crusader66 and runningman0661 Thank this.

Got the truck squared away at the Fremont shop, in and out in 2.5 hours. Went to Lincoln and picked up a preloaded trailer going out to Ontario, California for Monday. I will get out there Saturday and squeeze in a reset, that way I have a full 70 to hopefully keep me busy over the 4th.
