Wrapped kerosene soaked rags around a long skinny sapling I had cut down, like a long handled torch in a sense.

Yes Sir I agree! That is my uncle Lester front row far right, front row far left is my grandfather..... just a right out drunk, but one hell of a guitar player. Standing in back center is Poppy, my great grandfather, born in Blayne, KY in 1874 and moved to Milton, WV when he was about 21. Front row center was the oldest of the boys, my uncle Lawrence. He got killed around 1973 when a end loader bucket came through his windshield and took the left side of his head off...., I’ll never forget that day.... he had stopped and ask to borrow uncle Lester’s 66 C10 to haul a pump to a customer and let me ride along too. Uncle Lester said no I need my truck and I need Jim too. He agreed and left in his 1964 Implala 4 door, last time we seen him alive. Strange how things happen. About a year later that 66 C10 was totaled when a AMC Ambassador 4 door pulled out in front of us...., my face left a fist size dent in the dash.... all metal dash.

 

Interesting evening....

Dad calls to have me come over and put string on his weed eater cause he can't remember how. As I'm putting it back together mom comes out...see what I did to the garage? She tried to push the goldwing thru the back wall of the garage with the vet. Wall is pushed out a foot...studs all broke loose....Foundation stopped it.

Then she tells me they just got the Jeep back for the third time to fix the gas pedal not responding and it's still acting up. Told her to call lawyer and lemon law it.

About to leave and she says " Oh by the way....found out I have leukemia".

 

Nitrile gloves and knee pads going to Boeing..!

I feel worse for the wing hauler that’s gotta run the other trailer! Poor fella...

I know it’s a Task Force body style, just can’t see the fender badge or hood ornament to tell which year it is......
