    80 is decent, usually until you get to Joliet, there is construction, but usually tolerable.

    I Iisten to am 780 for traffic on the eights every ten minutes, or WLS am for reports less often.

    Sometimes, there seem to be evil forces at work, though, and you might get caught in a jam.

    80 is good... Not flooded anywhere that I know of between you and Chicago... I been runing back and forth over that stretch for 3 weeks now.

    Away from the Interstate, there's quite a bit of flooding, but the road east of the Missouri is fine, and even that is OK, now. Iirc.
