That's the hardest part, getting them linked behind. If it's dark you are unlucky to have to do it with a flashlight in your mouth fighting with the links. It's all muddy and snowy and your gloves are getting wet and you are slowly losing motor control in your fingers due to the cold. So you feel a bit rushed to get it done before you can't feel your fingers and essentially become useless, but rushing it can also cause problems.
I will chain if necessary to get to where I am going, but it's not a highlight of my day for sure. lolCattleman84, tramm01 and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -
