I’m not saying I wouldn’t do it but that’s still the wrong trailer for that load. Flat racks go on stretch double drops. I’ve even seen strep trailers with built in can locks.

Hauling that load like that wasn't a smart business move. Even if you only went 500 ft down the street. What would of happened if you hit a powerline?, what would of happened if it fell off that deck ? Was you loosing your ins and or athority worth it if that happened for a few $$$ ? You say you gained a new customer out of it. What really happened is the customer found some one to do it at a fraction of the cost other carriers probably quoted to do it the right way. I see it all the time. You basicly got scammed out of alot more $$$$ than you made.

None of these are big or dumb, but some fun every day stuff I get to pull around and try not taking down telephone lines with.

We have some of these trucks in Northern Ontario. I really don’t remember if it’s the triple 7 or the 772 that they move in one shot on 8 axles or not. Either way, I’d be having brown stuff in my pants pulling one of those around here. Too many low bridges, lights, low flying birds, stupid people on the sidewalks and so on lol.

Would love to get into multi axle though! Look up to you dudes!
