What would be the best path?

My view on your truck. if you have the credit get a used truck that you like and take that 30k and use it for maintenance the first year. work hard the first year to pay it off and then enjoy some vacation.

 

Congrats. Great to have goals and plan ahead. I wondered about your name Grey hat. I used to do seo when I was younger and it helped me afford my first truck. It was more grey hat work then anything. No black hat but can never be totally white or wouldn’t get the results! Not sure if that makes sense but maybe it does depending on your background.

As for the market I don’t see it dropping anything soon. Only way it’ll drop is if there is a Dem President won next November then you better be short as a mother. The market may price in a potential loss ahead of the vote though then swing hard one way or another depending on the results of the election.

So, would you recommend a C-15 or Series 60? My plan was to get a pre-def Pete with one of those, I was leaning towards the Cat but have been hearing a lot about the Series 60 recently.
