Well I live in a state that has a 75mph limit. But one has to keep in mind that 65mph or less saves lives!!!

If 65 saves lives, just think of how many MORE lives could be saved at 60...or 55...or 35...I bet if trucks were speed limited to 2 mph or less, we could eliminate nearly ALL deaths caused by trucks!

Well, since it is only new trucks, guess the glider business will be booming soon.

Also, if this passes, vampire junkyard trucks will start going for a premium.

Lumper Humper and booley Thank this.

Just remember when they pass that law to go 55, 3 wide.
If it's good for us? Then the non-professionals (4 wheelers) shouldn't be allowed over 45.

stwik, D.Tibbitt and Joetro Thank this.

i really feel for otr drivers. Im an owner operator and get paid hourly. My 379 will do about 83 to 85 mph. Even after a long day at work an hour away up the turnpike, ill keep it between 65 and 70 mph. I want to get hoe in the worst way but i still maintain my speed and watch super truckers bareling past me in the lane they arent supposed to be in when im behind a convo of other trucks. I get it, ELOGS. But the amount of crazy morons i see riding other 18wheelers and cutting them off s rediculous. Some of these guys are absolutely dangerous and insane.
IF, you cant manage your time and do i safely and obey the law, find a new profession. The job isnt for you and maybe ou wont cause a big pile up somewhere

Muddydog79, D.Tibbitt and Rocks Thank this.
