    No...they do not.

That is a myth that started because of a misinterpreted law regarding explosives and such being on the same trailer with hazmat materials. I hired a lawyer to look into this for me. And I also presented the question to OOIDA.

Each state does have their own set of rules...but in only a very few states is it illegal to carry a weapon (NJ, IL, NY to name the worst 3)

Most trucking companies do have "policies" against carrying weapons on the truck though...but many laws have already been passed in a few states that gives a worker the right to carry a weapon in their vehicle regardless of what the company has to say about it.

Now that does not yet cover us truckers...but its a step in the right direction.

These 2 guys shooting at trucks...well, that's a perfect example of why its best to "pray for the best and prepare for the worst".

Guns in Commercial Vehicles are worthless
They are a false sense of security for the insecure"chicken littles"that live in "FEAR"

The entire United States has long since become a society of "Codependents"(look that word up and understand what it means, dont assume you know, you'll miss it)

The US population has a mind set that one can bubble wrap their life with preventive measures and devices that make their world a happy place free of pit-falls and negative interaction with the real world(other humans).

People have become so detached from "reality"
they have become living robots "Dependant" on a fabricated "life source".
Push button gratification, swipe the plastic security,ZERO EFFORT for 100% Return.

    "Conveniences","Peace of Mind","ITS EASY" (just 4 payments of $19.95)

"GUNS" will not save you from your pathetic self, much less some mentally conjured evil.

AGAIN! for those window licker's in the back seat of the short bus, that gun in your truck or the one you "wished"
you could have in your truck will not make your life any safer.

Well you just keep on believing that horse-####:yes2557:
