I am having a similar issue with swift myself. Worked for them on two separate occasions. Swift will only verify my recent employment and not the longer period I drove before hand. Not only that but swift isn’t reporting that I was driving truck, just that I was employed. I’m trying to get a new job now and I won’t be eligible until I get my previous time verified. Anybody have any ideas who I can get ahold of? I already filed a request for correction on the driver facts site that swift uses but they’re telling me it could be weeks before a change is made!

Let it go Driver. Same old song.

As long your employers make one honest attempt to contact previous employers, they have satisfied the minimum required process on history.

    Roll on, be happy.

you are more or less asking about part 391.23. There is no "database" to bypass the requirements. Verifications still have to be done. There are services like Tenstreet that do stockpile similar information. Also DAC/HireRight and various others.

    (2) The investigation may consist of personal interviews, telephone interviews, letters, or any other method for investigating that the carrier deems appropriate. Each motor carrier must make a written record with respect to each previous employer contacted, or good faith efforts to do so. The record must include the previous employer's name and address, the date the previous employer was contacted, or the attempts made, and the information received about the driver from the previous employer. Failures to contact a previous employer, or of them to provide the required safety performance history information, must be documented. The record must be maintained pursuant to §391.53.

    Also the exception

Exception. For drivers with no previous employment experience working for a DOT-regulated employer during the preceding three years, documentation that no investigation was possible must be placed in the driver investigation history file, after October 29, 2004, within the required 30 days of the date the driver's employment begins.

I always thought employers could only ask if you worked there and if you were eligible to come back.
