It’s your call. If you bought a used single axel now. You may succeed. If not. I would bet against.

When I say I am already invested I mean I bought the 1 ton a month ago before I got my cdl. I'll pay it off in a couple of years and then upgrade. All I can do now is hope for the best.

Texas Pride shamelessly makes copies of the Kaufman Mini5, EZ 4, and even the Max6 and now they even advertise a copy of Cottrell EZ5307. If you buy one just know everything will be made from Chinese parts, get the 9k axles upgrade it will save money down the road.

Yup, got the 9k axle upgrade and heavy mesh floor along with a winch. They build their own axles.
    What parts are Chinese made?

They might build the trailer but all the components are Chinese made, google 'TK trailer parts' and 'trailerpartsunlimited' they are the same bunch in Huntville/Madisonville TX. They learn from the Chinese well, making copies.

It seems that likely this info is a bit late to the thread but perhaps the next guy can bennifit...

Kauffman owns Appellation. You can expect the same low quality and lack of response from both.

Picked up my TP 4 car yesterday and towed it 1200 miles to miami.
Customer service is pretty good, had no issues with any last minute requests or questions.
Stopped at the first rest stop to sleep and took a long look at the trailer.
Nice and sturdy built, my only complaint is the paint job is 95% good. Any part on a hinge was glued to the trailer and unsticking it peeled the paint.
Even though they said to bring it in and they will take care of it on the spot, I decided it wasn't worth a half day delay in my trip and I'd take care of it myself. Bought a can of Rustoleum and pried the parts that got stuck and gave them a touch up.

Trailer is a heavy sob, My 3500 chassis + trailer scaled at 19800 lbs. That means the trailer is slightly over 10,000 with the heavy mesh, triple 9k axles, 17.5 rims and winch. Trailer is rated at 27,000 lbs.

Overall with my novice trailer experience I am happy with it. I'll update this thread every couple of months.

To be honest, I think you are running a little bit heavy with this setup. If it is empty 19800, 4 cars x 4000 would be 16,000, so the GCWR is somewhere around 35,800. You should look up your truck's manufacturer's recommended GCWR. Since you already had the truck, just be careful with what you pull by trying not to put too much weight on the truck's rear axles. Whenever you get a chance upgrade the truck to Ram 5500 or go big as the others say. Otherwise the trailer is a good choice.
