    I had to look up on YouTube about shimming. All I can gather so far is more or less however ya need to make it level.

    April 1938 GM started manufacturing engines with the Detroit Diesel Engine Division and changed it's Winton Engine Corporation to Cleveland Diesel Engine Division. Cleveland made the bigger engines for locomotives and ships. Detroit made smaller engines for buses etc. Starting with the Series 71 two strokes.
