Have you not called your provider and asked about their services?

I'm fairly certain Telus (my carrier), Rogers and BellMTS all offer CAN/US roaming plans for something like $10-15 more a month in Manitoba. I can't see the rest of Canada being any different.

You get unlimited everything and your full data package across the border. The only drawback is once you add it to your contract, you can't take it off.

Tmobile and Cricket plans seems to be the best thing going. US residency is required - or at least the principle on the account . After that anyone can be added. Once one person has one they can add other and everyone gets a discount.

For 4 ppl .. 25$ a month free roaming in Canada and Mexico if you can used in over 50% in the US. I can handle that!

The 50% .. I guess I could make a point of streaming a video, calling people, and sending out texts when state side.

Minimum amount with telus is 115 per month for roaming in the US (Ontario). That's 4gb data too..

I'm with T-mobile for 3-4 years, after trying all from Sprint, Verizon,AT$T,Bell,Telus, all my buddies here in Windsor running across border are with T-mobile using this CAnada-USA-Mexico plan. No more worries to get separate plans for US and Canada, 2 phones, turn off data bull at the border.
I have 2 phones in same plan for 110$/month , we run team but last year they reduced data in Canada for my 2nd phone because i abused it, still can use hot spot from first one. The only inconvenience is they won't set up direct bank visa/debit payment /withdraw for canadian customers without US sin#, have to call use credit card every month or pay for 2-3 months in advance if you want.

They told me they can't set up an account over the phone unless I have a billing address in the States for my credit card that matches my T-mobile account.

There you are, few of us have been wondering how you're doing at Challenger? Also Telus Can/US plan, 100/mo all in, can't beat it.

I’ve been using Cricket for the past three years or so and couldn’t be happier. 60 bucks for unlimited everything in both Canada and the US (and Mexico too if that’s your thing). Works great in both countries, even in the middle of nowhere. I typically use around 120 gigs of data a month and love it.

Based out of Winnipeg, so I just waltzed into a Cricket store in Fargo, was honest with the guy and he just said “no problem, we have tons of Canadians as customers” and set me up. My official address as far as Cricket is concerned is said store in Fargo, and my phone number starts with a 701 instead of a 204.

Absolutely painless, works great, truly unlimited everything (no such crap as “unlimited data, but we will slow you down after three gigs) and cheap as hell.

Rogers can go #### itself as far as I am concerned.

Walmart US has the AT&T 25GB + unlimated talk/text on prepaid for $40 USD. Get that plan for when you are in USA. It also works in Canada but not alot of people answer their phones when you call from a USA number. Get a freedom mobile plan for when you are in Canada.

$50-$60 CAD per month for USA line
$45-$55 CAD per month for the CAN line.

Get your employer to pay for the USA line monthly.
