I don’t know where you came from, or how far you plan on getting in this thread. I can tell you, you won’t be going far unless you calm down a wee bit. @AModelCat is a good dude. He don’t #### with nobody. I do however. So let’s be friends.

 

Empty and hammering to the ranch.

 

Ok 'dad', how do you remember where the heck you put it 23-odd-years ago? I kept stuff 2 months ago and either forget that I saved it, or where the heck I stashed it. Dad spent half of his life squirreling away things on the farm and I still find "whatever the heck it is" buried along an old fencerow. Just this week, I spent entirely too much time looking up ice box rivets and annealing temps for a stupid jar I found. Why I bothered to look it up when I'm not ever going to be assembling an aircraft? Because I remember him talking about them, and we always had jars of rivets in the freezer growing up lol.

 

That's what I do. Look at the pics. Yawn, just another beautiful sunshine. Yawn, just another beautiful day. Yawn, just another cute waitress with pretty hair and beautiful eyes and mental issues. Yawn, just another good meal. Yawn, just another good day.

Been waiting for @ShooterK2 to do a full moon shot (lunar...no buttcheeks) so I can howl.

 

I’ve tried a few times but any photographer will tell ya the moon is one of the hardest things to get a respectable shot of, especially with an iPhone. The camera tries to adjust for the darkness, and the moon ends up just being a washed out spot in the sky.

I reckon one of these days when I’m home I need to dust off the Nikon and put the bug gun on and see if I can still do it. Been a long time since I even used that thing.

 

I’m in the same boat. Can’t remember nuthin. It kinda worries me about years to come. I watched my Papaw get where he couldn’t remember family members and stuff. He was a great Man and it was heartbreaking to see him that way.

 

I’ll back this up. @AModelCat is one of the old hands in this thread. He has earned respect here. @Steelersjunkie just walked in. I think it’s a little early for name calling.

 

I’ve been out here a while now and I’m still shocked from time to time.
