No approval yet from WE. Load has to be picked up by 17:30. Looks like that won’t happen. The shipper is closed till Monday a.m so looks like a simple repair is going to have me sitting here till then..

    *sigh*

Why are people who don’t drive trucks allowed to make decisions. It’s a simple ####ing retread trailer tire. So instead of getting 5000-6000 miles this week I’ll end up with 3000. How is this profitable for the company and everyone involved? The tire is $260.

I wish I could pay for it. Can’t. FML.

This is what makes me interested in leaving WE. This is ########. 5 hours for a tire. Still no tire.

Cause the company is wanting to see about $500 per day average revenue booked to the truck --- so $3000 per week.

If you ran 3000 miles at a $1.50 per mile ---- the corporate revenue goal for your truck has been met.

Note: The Drivers personal miles per week goal is not part of their revenue measurement.

Yep don't remember hitting anything and if I did why would it just bruise the inside of one and not the other. Anyway looked at it today with tire guy he said yeah no warranty but will discount the drives when I'm ready to change them. So at least something

I don’t necessarily mind working holidays. Then I get paid for working PLUS the holiday pay.

    Nothing like double dipping. :D
