I'm honestly wondering if Night Train is taken... interested in using it as a handle to pay homage to all the runs I've done up and down I-5, weighing 79k and some change, and running at night to avoid the traffic

    Or, “Lone Wolf”?

    Or, “Wizard”

Or half a dozen others from pop culture. Used many times.

Hottest studio version of that song is still the 1957 Louis Prima version (or, filmed live with Sam Butera & The Witnesses).

Also Oscar Peterson. Ray Anthony had the best known version in his 1952 radio hit.

Just remember that when one chooses a well-used name that . . somewhere in eastern Kentucky back in 1982 the last “Night Train” got his own Mama pregnant.

You might not like what someone else associates with that name.

But no one owns any of them.

Was thinking of the GnR song... but good point about the well-used handle. I'll keep trying to decide on another one, then

Grandfather gave me mine. He was Big Baloney, Grandmother was Red Lobster, I've been Ham Hock since I could pick up the mic, so it'll definitely be following me on the road.

I really don't think Tight Flams is a good CB handle, though

Secret Squirrel - As my uncle dubbed me. In my teen years I had a workbench in the garage where I'd cannibalize junk radios and TV sets and build other stuff from the parts, copying from old radio and electronics books. My dad called them my 'secret projects'. May seem funny but later the knowledge turned into good paying jobs.
