I used to be that way when I was younger. Full of hate. Then, I didn’t feel anything. That’s even worse than hate because you’re not even “human” anymore.
Years ago, I was in a house full of family, doing my usual thing of just sitting and watching. My brother’s wife was sitting on the couch talking to other women in the room. Beside her sat my niece that was 2 yrs old at the time. Standing near her was another little girl around her age. My niece sat there, holding on to her mom, and the other little girl stood there and they both stared at each other. This went on for 10 minutes or so, they didn’t speak or move, they just looked at each other.
I said to my niece, “ She wants you to play. Go ahead and go with her and play.” My niece climbed down and she and the little girl ran off to play. It amazes me to no end how tots choose their friends, how they develop their own language and games.
Somewhere in life, we learn hate. Have to have hate. The tots don’t. They are eventually taught hate by their parent. I find that interesting.
