What? No people to fix the steak to order and the trimmings?

I just got a new spring for the pull starter on my chainsaw. eBay !!
That’ll be my morning getting that thing in there, then I have a few more trees down to cut the tops off and drag the logs into my yard.

x1Heavy, InTooDeep and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.

I don't take a steak frozen unless it's had time in the oven. I forget the exact time and temperature probably on order of 350 for a hour. That should get the ice out of it. Then you can go crank it up to cooking on grill or broil setting which does not take very long at all.

Once in a while in big enough pan I'll do the steak up top. The problem lies in knowing where to go in the USA to get quality steaks and ordering same. I usually make do with Omaha, the shipping people of all sorts of things meat and taters among other things. Its close enough. Not to mention the cost which means it's a form of luxury item. But of a known quality and can cook just so.

The drink, decades ago I discovered a basic red called Moton Cadet and it went well with thanksgiving in the family. I don't see anything special in the wine other than that they are very consistent where possible with it. It goes ok with beef but other drinks go better with it. I must say growing up as a kid one cabinet is top to bottom in all things Alcohol. German, French and god only knows what else in there dating to Colonial times. Once in a while we wondered what ever happened to that haul when that home was sold. However the one person who knows is dead and buried long ago so.. Cheers.

A very long time ago we had access to a form of sassafrass and that went away with the drug wars for some reason or another. By any other name it's known as Root Beer.

Maybe he had Uber eats deliver it. The OM is on vacation. Maybe he splurged.

Can someone please explain to me why so many truckers sit at the lunch counter at the iron skillet/other restaurants?

    I don’t understand.

Rather than the nice comfy booth? Who cares. I enjoy my booth if I splurge, so please don't give anyone any ideas.
