Anyone have one of those ergonomic ones?

Always thought about it, never actually bought one...

I've seen them in Dysarts and Iowa-80.... "seen" them at some time. There were sold out when I wanted to pick one up.

I used an ergonomic one for a week, more spin tendency in my experience.

First flatbedding job I ever had, the senior guy handed me a 18” chunk of threaded rod on my first day n said get after it....
I figured he was ####ing with me. Turns out that’s what he used for years :0

I keep a cut down 18” bar in the side box. It’s my go to bar. The full size bar is in the headache rack and really only comes out for the rarely used snap binders.

    cke Thanks this.

I got exact same thing from same place you got. By the way name is Tri-City Canvas. 3 brothers running that place.
Saves some time on softer loads (like mulch seeds etc) that requires more turn on winches. I don’t doubt durability of this bar.
Only downside of that thing when locking pin end up being exactly perpendicular to the deck.
So watch out for that before the final click

I got a wrench bar just like the original poster. I loved it. I think it did save time and energy. I treated it like a regular wench bar and threw it in my headache rack rather carelessly. It lasted about 2 months before it broke. I think you have to be very gentile with those. I then bought one of these wench bars. Mega Tork & a Portable Adapter - Quick Winch It is made much more solidly. I love it and would not do flat bedding without it. It is kind of pricey but I think it's worth it because it makes my life easier.
