Can do. My biggest thing is I have a phobia of having stuff on my trailer when I'm empty.

I don't have a phobia, I just hate having to move it.

I found a nice used set of 4 Sturdy-lite ramps & stands for $2,000but they're only 18" wide and the trailer I'm getting has a 20" drop so I guess I'd have to ad a board to use them for load levelers or I can keep looking for 20" ramps.

If you're only ever going to haul hay I wouldn't worry about it. Throw a 4 by 4 up there

I beleive the 18" ramps are designed for a 20" drop so to use a 2"x8" board on top and you can get H shaped brackets to lock them together.
I've got the 16" ramps and use them on a 22" drop but I use a 4"x4" under and a 2" on top.
I think discount ramps out of WI. sells all the different parts separatley. I bought to many of the H brackets thinking I would need more than one load leveler but just don't.

I often use my load levelers to raise up a piece and slide something underneath it. Make 40' worth of stuff into 20'

I have my ramps behind the tandems running cross ways the 102" width just in front of the rear bumper. Welded some steel to make a tray and they slide out from the drivers side. Works good and they are right at the back where I need them.

If my trailer has a 21” drop and 43’ rear deck height, which ramps would I need?
Also, is there any advantage of buying new from the dealer when spec’ing the trailer? (besides comfort factor)? They want $5.5k for a set.
