Hi Guys, so I have 170k on a DD13 crate motor but the old injectors were reused. That should put them at around 715k. My fuel economy is not the best and some times it seems sluggish and slow to respond to throttle input. I have replaced all the egr components and cooler although I have not replaced the fuel quantity control valve because I can not get to it ( short hood cascadia). What are your thoughts?
2011 DD13 fuel injector life span?

Sorry, I forgot to say that it starts great and no smoke or anything.

a. quantity control valve will not effect on mpg
b. bad fuel economy because of new engine. break in period is about 30-40k miles
c. life span of injectors is 600k-900k milesQUALITYTRUCK Thanks this. -
Bring it down here to GA, Griffin GA to be exact, as you need a real mechanic to look at it. Could be a host of issues, from injectors to emissions. I would start with getting a printout of any codes, and then track down the related sensors and start replacing those old ones. EGR Tuneup is the first thing to do, new motor or not.

Well the engine itself has about 170 k miles on it. The entire egr system has been replaced and cleaned(valve, actuator and cooler). DPF has been "fixed". Delta P and boost sensor have been replaced multiple times. All done by me. No Codes. I have been applying the rawze techniques to it.

Do you still have that dd13? I have some interesting findings.

No. I traded it in on something else Why do you ask?
