In my infinite wisdom I didn’t snap a photo... it’s not really “orange” but a.... rusty steel brown looking color.
I’ll go digging on Facebook for it...

It's just the BST - so not a direct apple to apple comparison. The East has 1 box and winch track on both sides, Mac has no extras, but the Mac has 11 side lights vs East 5 and the fully enclosed rear. Both have a 5" arch and front lift axle. Mac is ~$5k more. 5-7 year resale is good on both. Tough choice for an undecided person.

Hey, you’re the one that made me wear a clown costume! May as well fit the part. -
Your right on the flex, the bottom flange carries all the weight and is the first to fail. The rolled flanges do all the work. However once you get up under the cab, movement is way less than behind it. Thats why I say go as far as you can. A lot of people are cheap and go short. Built a few wreckers, now I did not weld them. I like to think Im a good welder, But I did not have the confidence in my weld and had a old guy working their that did. -
That is sweet.

Hey @Humblepie
You from SC.
How good is a pulled pork sandwich with slaw on it? -
Oh ok. Do you need the heavier trailer? BST is a lighter trailer good for general flat work and occasional coils comparible to Mac Road warrior. Now if your hauling coils all the time the Mac 72 is the better choice. Im shopping too. I find a lot of fleets spec the light duty trailers but have a planned service life 7-8 year replacement. The heavier built trailers last longer. Im looking to replace a 1995 that hauled coils, shingles most of it life. Think it has done real well.
